Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kerfline Labs LLC ("we", "us") handles information in our apps and on this website. Each app below has its own section, because each app works a little differently.
RoomTrail
What the app stores
- Room scans you create with your device's camera and LiDAR sensor.
- Measurements, room names, levels, notes and photos you add.
- App settings, such as units and whether you have seen the tips.
All of this is stored only on your device. We do not receive it, and it is not uploaded to our servers.
Camera and photos
RoomTrail uses the camera to scan rooms and, if you choose, to take photos for notes. You can also pick photos from your library. These images stay on your device and inside your scans.
Sharing
When you export or share a report (PDF, spreadsheet, CAD drawing or 3D model), you choose where it goes, for example Mail, Files or AirDrop. What happens after that is controlled by the app or person you share it with.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-in.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking across apps or websites.
- No sale or sharing of personal data.
Device backups
If you use iCloud or computer backups, your device may include RoomTrail data in those backups under Apple's terms. We have no access to them.
Deleting your data
Delete a scan or note inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from your device.

PlanSketch is in development. Its privacy details will be added here before it is released.
Notebook
Notebook is in development. Its privacy details will be added here before it is released.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply and help you.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
